STUCK IN THE VINYL AGAIN - FUNKADELIC - COSMIC SLOP

Good morning, morning people and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today we remember funk guitarist and vocalist, Eddie Hazel, best known for his work with Parliament-Funkadelic, who would be celebrating his 70th Birthday tomorrow (April 10). He passed away in 1992, age 42, from liver failure. With him in mind, we spotlight Funkadelic's  fifth studio album, Cosmic Slop. The LP was released July 9, 1973 on the Westbound label and produced by George Clinton. It peaked at #112 on the Billboard 200 and #21 on the R&B album charts. The title track was released as a single, but failed to chart.
