To commemorate this great date, we spotlight their 5th studio album, E Pluribus Funk. E Pluribus Funk was released in November of 1971 on the Capitol label and produced by Terry Knight. It peaked at #11 in Australia, #10 in Canada, and #5 on the Billboard 200. The singles we heard from it were "People, Let's Stop the War", Footstompin' Music" (#83 Australia, #43 Canada, #29 Hot 100), and "Upsetter" (#89 Canada, #73 Hot 100).
