Good morning Thursday people and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today we remember Manhattan born comedian, actor, author, and social critic, George Carlin, on what would have been his 85th Birthday. He died June 22, 2008, age 71 from heart failure. With him in mind, we spotlight his 4th album, Class Clown. The LP was recorded live May 27, 1972 at Santa Monica Civic Auditorium, and then released later that same year on September 29th on the Little David /Atlantic labels. It peaked at #22 on the Billboard 200. On it Carlin tackles topics such as his youth, the Vietnam War, religion and perhaps his best known bit, "Seven Words You Can Never Say on Television".
