Good Monday morning gang and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today we remember Iowa born big-band trombonist, arranger, composer, and bandleader, Glenn Miller, on what would have been his 117th Birthday, He disappeared in 1944, age 40, while flying in bad weather over the English Channel. Pure Gold is a 1975 RCA compilation album. It collects 10 studio recordings from the years 1939 and 1942. It has been certified Gold in the US.
