Good Tuesday morning to you all and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again . Today we remember Australian-American singer, actress, television host, and activist, Helen Reddy, on what would have been her 80th Birthday. She passed away September 20, 2020, age 78 from dementia. We honor her legacy by spotlighting her first compilation album, Helen Reddy's Greatest Hits. The LP was released in 1975 on Capitol Records and produced by Tom Catalano, Larry Marks, Jay Senter, and Joe Wissert . It peaked at #42 in Australia, #9 in Canada, #5 in the UK and on the Billboard 200, and #1 in New Zealand. It has been certified double Platinum in the US.
