Good morning audiophiles and welcome back to the Thursday and the April Fool's edition of Stuck In The vinyl Again. In addition to all that, it is also the 70th Birthday of Brooklyn born singer-songwriter and record executive, Henry Gross. Happy Birthday Henry ! Before going solo Henry ws a founding member of rock and roll doo-wop group, Sha Na Na. His 7th solo record, Love Is The Stuff, was released in 1978 on Lifesong Records and produced by Terry Cashman & Tommy West. If this record or any songs from it charted I can find no evidence. That probably lends itself to his title of a 'One Hit Wonder'. He is primarily known for the 1976 song, "Shannon" written about the death of Carl Wilson's Dog.
