The Grammy award winning standard pop singer who sometimes delves into jazz and big band era music turned 85 on Saturday (01/14/23) . He was born January 14, 1938 and his Father, an actor and tenor recorded the song, "The Donkey Serenade", on the night he was born. his Mother is actress Irene Hervey. During his career, Jack has recorded over 60 albums, but it is his 6th studio record, Call Me Irresponsible And The Jack Jones Hits, which is turning on our table today. The LP was released on the Kapp label in 1964. The tracks "Lollipops and Roses" (#66 Hot 100, #42 Cash Box, #6 Adult Contemporary) and "Call Me Irresponsible" (#75 Hot 100, #62 Cash Box) were released as singles.
