Good Tuesday morning to you all and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today we remember "The Mouth of Mississippi", comedian Jerry Clower, on the 23rd anniversary of his passing. He died in 1998, age 71, following heart bypass surgery. We honor his legacy by spotlighting his 15th album, Starke Raving ! . Starke Raving ! was released in 1984 on the MCA label and produced by Snuffy Miller. The LP was recorded in Starke, Florida and finds the funny man primarily talking about life in Southern towns. He evens mentions my hometown, Bonifay, Florida. This copy was purchased years ago at the now Legendary J.R.'s Junk Trunk.
