Good morning Wednesday warriors, and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again . On this very day in 1976, the science fiction action film, Logan's Run, was released. The Michael Anderson directed film, starring Michael York, Jenny Agutter, Richard Jordan, Roscoe Lee Browne, Farrah Fawcett, and Peter Ustinov, tells the tale of a dystopian future in which all people are executed at the age of 30. It's soundtrack (our feature today) was composed and conducted by Jerry Goldsmith, known for his scores of Star Trek and the Rambo franchise. Our copy is a white label, MGM Promotional - Not For Sale, copy, possibly used at a radio station. There is a notation on the front cover, instructing whoever to use the last track on the 2nd side, as background music.
