Good morning faithful readers and welcome back to the Thursday edition of Stuck In The Vinyl Again. It was on this day in 1958, that the The Big Gold Record Stars tour began it's 6 date run in Orlando, Florida. The lineup featured Bill Haley and his Comets, The Everly Brothers, Buddy Holly & The Crickets, Jimmie Rodgers and Jerry Lee Lewis. After Orlando, the Big Stars visited Tampa, Jacksonville, West Palm Beach, Miami, and Fort Lauderdale. To commemorate the concert dates we spotlight From The Vaults Of Sun by Jerry Lee Lewis. The compilation LP was released in 1974 on Power Pak Records.
