Good morning Wednesday warriors and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today we celebrate the 75th Birthday of English guitarist Martin Barre, best known for his work with progressive rockers Jethro Tull. Happy Birthday Martin ! On a more somber note, today is also the 42nd anniversary of the death of bassist, John Glascock, who played with the band from 1976 until his death in 1979. A congenital heart valve defect claimed his life at age 28. With these two in mind, we spotlight Tull's 3rd greatest hits compilation, Repeat - The Best Of Jethro Tull Volume II. The LP, released September 9, 1977, peaked at #94 on the Billboard 200 and #92 in Australia and was produced by Terry Ellis and Ian Anderson.
