Good morning, morning people and welcome back to the Sunday edition of Stuck In The Vinyl Again . Today we remember Sylacauga, Alabama native, actor, singer, and comedian, Jim Nabors (James Thurston Nabors), on what would have been his 92nd Birthday . He died on November 30, 2017, aged 87, at his home in Honolulu, Hawaii, from a suppressed immune system. Known for his beloved character Gomer Pyle on both the The Andy Griffith Show and Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C., Nabors also had a rich baritone singing voice that he utilized on his numerous albums, such as his second recording, Jim Nabors Sings Love Me with All Your Heart. The Gold certified LP was released in 1966 on the Columbia label. It reached #34 on the Billboard 200 and saw two singles released ; "Love Me With All Your Heart" and "You Don't Know Me".
