Today we remember American singer, songwriter, musician, actor, and author, Johnny Cash, on what would have been his 88th Birthday.He passed away in 2003, age 71, of complications from diabetes. It's also Ash Wednesday, which I am calling Cash Wednesday, this year. To honor the iconic performer's legacy , we spotlight his 1971 record, The Man, The World, His Music. It's a double compilation album released on Sun Records. . A couple of years prior to it's release, a documentary of the same name, directed by Robert Elfstrom debuted on television.
