Good Monday morning gang (if you believe in such things) and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again . Today we remember Arkansas born guitarist, vocalist, actor, and icon, The Man In Black, Johnny Cash, on this the 19th anniversary of his passing. He was born February 26, 1932 and died in 2003, age 71 of complications from diabetes. He is severely missed . With him in mind, we spotlight this Sun Records compilation, Story Songs Of The Trains And Rivers by Johnny Cash & The Tennessee Two. The LP was released in 1969 on the Sun label and peaked at #197 on the Billboard 200 and #2 on the Top Country Albums chart. Here's the interesting thing about our copy. It's a Sun Records cover, but when you look inside the record, it is a 1970 Taiwan bootleg from First Records and the record sleeve is from A&M.
