Dark Clouds Rain Down Tears Washing Away Swirling Colors From The Clown's Face..
Good morning, morning people and welcome back to the Friday edition of Stuck In The Vinyl Again. In addition to Friday, it is also the 75th Birthday of Washington born vocalist/guitarist Kenny Loggins, best known for his work in the duo Loggins and Messina. Happy Birthday Kenny ! To mark the occasion, we spotlight Kenny's first live albu, Alive. Alive was recorded in between 1978 and 1980 in Chico, Sacramento, and Los Angeles, California and Tahoe, Nevada. It was then released in September of 1980 on the Columbia label and produced by Kenny Loggins and Bruce Botnick. It peaked at #72 in Australia and #11 on the Billboard 200. Our copy is a promotional copy, with the white label that says, 'Demonstration Not For Sale'. This is a double album, but we only have one disc. This copy doesn't have a cover either. We found it inside another Loggins album. I will enclose a stock photo, so we can see what Loggins live LP, Alive, looks like.
