Today we celebrate the 53rd Birthday of Compton, California born rapper, King T (real name Roger McBride).  Happy Birthday King T ! He is considered an early pioneer of West Coast Hip Hop and a influence on  The Notorious B.I.G. . To mark the occasion, we shine a light on his debut album, Act A Fool. The LP was released  November 15, 1988 on Capitol Records and produced by Tim Devine, DJ Pooh, and King T. It peaked at #125 on the Billboard 200 and #35 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. It's singles were the title track (#26 Hot Rap Songs) and "Bass" (#19 Hot Rap Songs).
