Today we celebrate the 71st Birthday of Texas born bassist and vocalist, Steve Gatlin, best known for his work with his brothers Larry and Rudy, in the Gatlin Brothers Band. Happy Birthday Steve ! To mark the occasion, we find ourselves spinning this 1983 Columbia compilation, Greatest Hits Volume II. The LP reached #22 on the Hot Country Albums chart and was produced by Jerry Crutchfield and Larry, Rudy, and Steve Gatlin.
