Today we remember North Dakota born accordionist, bandleader, and television impresario, Lawrence Welk, on this, the 30th anniversary of his death. He died of pneumonia, age 89 in 1992. With him in mind, we spotlight his album Blue Hawaii. The LP was released in 1969 on Pickwick/33 Records.
