Good Tuesday morning to you all and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today marks 47 years since the untimely death of Texas native, guitarist and vocalist, Left Frizzell (William Orville "Lefty" Frizzell ). He was born March 31, 1928 and died July 19, 1975m age 47 from a massive stroke. We honor his legacy by spinning this greatest hit's package, appropriately titled Lefty Frizzell's Greatest Hits. The LP was released in 1964 on Columbia Records and features many of his greatest tunes, including "Saginaw, Michigan" (#85 Hot 100, #1 Hot Country Singles), "She's Gone Gone Gone" (#12 Hot Country Singles), and "The Long Black Veil" (#6 Hot Country Singles).
