Good morning Wednesday warriors and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today we remember Massachusetts born composer, conductor, pianist, music educator, author, and humanitarian, Leonard Bernstein, on this, the 30th anniversary of his death. He passed away in 1990, age 72, from a heart attack brought on by mesothelioma. We honor his legacy by spotlighting this 1963 Columbia Masterworks release, Leonard Bernstein Conducts For Young People (the) New York Philharmonic.
