Good Tuesday morning to you all and welcome back to Stuck The Vinyl Again. Today we celebrate The Red Rocker, Sammy Hagar, as he celebrates his 73rd Birthday. Happy Birthday Sammy ! To commemorate the date, we spotlight his sixth solo studio album, Standing Hampton. Standing Hampton was released January 6, 1982 on Geffen Records and produced by Keith Olsen. It was Sammy's first record after making the move from Capitol to Geffen and his first to be certified (Platinum).  It peaked at #89 in the UK, #39 in Canada, and #28 on the Billboard 200.
