STUCK IN THE VINYL AGAIN - LORETTA LYNN - YOU AIN'T WOMAN ENOUGH

Good morning faithful readers and welcome back to the Thursday edition of Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Tuesday (October 4, 2022) brought us the sad news that country music icon, singer songwriter and guitarist, Loretta Lynn had passed away. She was born April 14, 1932 and died at age 90 in her sleep. She will be missed beyond what words can say. During her 6 decade career she released 46 studio albums, but it is her 7th studio album, You Ain't Woman Enough, that is our subject of sound today. The LP was released September 12, 1966 on the Decca label and produced by Owen Bradley. It peaked at #140 on the Billboard 200 and #1 on the Hot Country Albums chart. It's sole single was the title track, "You Ain't Woman Enough", which reached #2 on the Hot Country Songs chart.
