Good morning Thursday people and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again . In addition to Thursday, August 4th is also what would have been 121st Birthday of New Orleans native, vocalist and trumpeter, Louis Armstrong. He was born in 1901 and passed away July 6th, 1971, age 69, from a heart attack. His last album of recorded music was Louis 'Country & Western' Armstrong. That LP is our focus today. Louis 'Country & Western' Armstrong was released October 1970 on Avco Embassy Records and produced by Ivan Mogull and Jack Clement . It is an interesting album, in that it does not necessary sound like C&W or jazz, but a amalgamation of both. If it charted or any singles were released, I cannot find them.
