Good morning Wednesday warriors and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today we remember Connecticut born swing jazz bandleader and trumpeter, Les Elgart, on what would have been his 105th Birthday. He was born in 1917 and passed away in 1995, age 77, from heart failure. With him in mind, we spotlight his 9th studio album, The Elgart Touch. The LP was released in 1956 on the Columbia label .
