Today we are thrilled to wish Jersey born singer and actress Nancy Sinatra, a very Happy 81st Birthday. Happy Birthday Nancy ! She released her first abum, Boots, in 1966 on Reprise Records. The disc, produced by Lee Hazlewood, peaked at #12 in the UK, and #5 on the Billboard 200. Two singles were released ; "So Long, Babe" (#86 Hot 100) and her best known tune, "These Boots Are Made for Walkin'" (#1 in both the UK and the Hot 100). Nancy is joined by uncredited members of the famous Wrecking Club. On the album, Nancy covers the Beatles, the Turtles, the Rolling Stones, and the Statler Brothers.
