Good morning Friday people and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again . Today we celebrate the 83rd Birthday of Liverpool, England native, vocalist, drummer, and actor, Ringo Starr (Sir Richard Starkey MBE) . Happy Birthday Ringo ! He was born in 1940 to parents  Richard Starkey and Elsie Gleave and over the course of his 7 decade career he released 17 studio albums as part of the Beatles and 20 solo efforts, including the 2019 release, What's My Name. Today we have him on his first greatest hits compilation, Blast From Your Past. The LP was released November 25,  1975 on the Apple label and was produced by Richard Perry, George Harrison, Pete Drake, and Ringo Starr. It peaked at #95 in Australia and #30 on the Billboard 200. The record collects his most shiny solo stuff from the years 1970 -1974.
