Good morning record enthusiasts and welcome back to the Thursday edition of Stuck In The Vinyl Again . Today we remember North Carolina native, vocalist, guitarist, fiddler, and actor, Charlie Daniels, on this the 3rd anniversary of his passing. He was born October 28, 1936 to teenage parents William and LaRue Daniels and passed away in 2020, age 83 from a hemorrhagic stroke. He is severely missed . During his 7 decade career he released over 30 studio albums, including this one. His 12th studio album and the 9th released under the moniker, The Charlie Daniels Band, is called Windows. It was released March 5, 1982 on the Epic label and produced by John Boylan. The LP peaked at #26 on the Billboard 200 and #7 on the Top Country Albums chart. It has been certified Gold in the US. Three singles were issued ; "Still in Saigon" (#22 Hot 100), "Ragin' Cajun" (#109 Hot 100, #76 Hot Country Songs) , and "We Had It All One Time" (#69 Hot Country Songs) . We bought our copy years ago in Lakeland, at The Wax And The Needle.
