Today we remember Texas born singer-songwriter, multi instrumentalist , and actor, Roger Miller, on this, the 29th anniversary of his passing. He died in 1992, age 56, from lung cancer. We give his debut album, Roger And Out, a look and a listen today. Roger And Out was released May 1964 on Smash Records and produced by Jerry Kennedy . It peaked at #37 on the Billboard 200, and #3 on the Country albums chart. Two singles were issued : "Chug-a-Lug" (#23 Canada, #9 Hot 100, #3 Country) and "Dang Me" (#7 Hot 100, #6 Canada, #1 Country Singles).
