Her ninth studio album, Morning Like This, was released in March 1986 on the Word label and produced by Patti and Greg Nelson. It peaked at #1 on the US Top Inspirational Albums and saw the release of 5 singles ; "Was It A Morning Like This" (#4 CCM CHR, #1 CCM AC),  "Let There Be Praise" (#9 CCM CHR #7 CCM AC)  , "Love In Any Language" (#27 CCM AC, #11 CCM CHR ) , "In The Name of the Lord" (#2 CCM AC) , and "Hosanna" (#10 CCM AC).
