Good morning Tuesday people and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again . This week we have two Birthdays on Wednesday that we wanted to celebrate on Wednesday, so we are going to celebrate one of those today. (Don't worry, I haven't broken timespace (... yet) ...) So tomorrow is the 54th Birthday of Washington, D.C born R&B singer, Stacy Lattisaw. Her 4th studio album, Sneakin' Out was released July 26, 1982 on the Cotillion/Atlantic labels and produced by Narada Michael Walden (who is currently the drummer for Journey). It peaked at #55 on the Hot 100 and #11 on Billboard's Top R&B Albums chart. Three singles were issued ; "Don't Throw It All Away" (#101 Hot 100, #9 R&B) , "Attack of the Name Game" (#70 Hot 100, #14 R&B) and "Hey There Lonely Boy" (#108 Hot 100, #71 R&B). Both Randy Jackson and Sheila E. appear on the record. When I bought this album, I had no idea who Lattisaw was, but I couldn't resist this drawn retro kitchen on the cover.
