Good Tuesday morning to you all and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again. It brings us great joy to wish Wisconsin born guitarist, singer and songwriter, and bandleader, Steve Miller, a very Happy 78th Birthday ! Happy Birthday Steve ! To get the day started we give the Steve Miller Band's 10th studio record, Book Of Dreams, a spin. The LP was released May 1977 on the Capitol label and produced by Steve Miller. It peaked at #12 in the UK, #11 in Sweden, #6 in Australia, #5 in New Zealand, #4 in the Netherlands, #2 on the Billboard 200, and #1 in Canada. It's singles were : "Jet Airliner" (#8 Hot 100, #3 Canada and Cash Box), "Jungle Love" (#23 Hot 100),  and "Swingtown" (#17 Hot 100, #13 Cash Box and Canada). We were fortunate enough to see Steve Miller in 2015 along with Tower OF Power and Journey. It was a great Show ! I took a lot of video that night and have a 15 song playlist on YouTube. I'll provide a link to it down around the pictures if you'd like to watch some of it. Our good friend, Les Dudek, is featured on the song, "Sacrifice", which he co-wrote with Curley Cooke.
