Good morning Thursday people and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again . Today we find ourselves celebrating the 8rd Birthday of British actor Terrence Stamp, perhaps best known as the Kryptonian supervillain, General Zod in the first two Christopher Reeves' Superman films. Happy Birthday Terrence ! With him in mind, we spotlight the Original Soundtrack to Superman II. Superman II (the film and soundtrack) was released in 1980 by Warner Brothers. The movie starring Christopher Reeves as Superman/Clark Kent, Gene Hackman as Lex Luthor, Margot Kidder as Lois Lane and Terrence Stamp as General Zod was a box office hit and is considered one of the best superhero films in history. It was directed by Richard Lester and features a score by John Williams and Ken Thorne.
