Good morning Sunday people and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today we glefully celebrate the 73rd Birthday of multi-instrumentalist singer songwriter film composer and blues musician, Taj Mahal. Happy Birthday Taj ! With him in mind, we spotlight his 7th studio album, Mo' Roots. The LP was released in 1974 on Columbia Records and produced by Taj Mayhal. The album saw Taj put on his reggae/calypso hat and the result is glorious. On it he covers well known artists of the genres, including Bob Marley, Bob Andy, and Delroy Wilson.
