Good morning faithful readers and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again . Today the National Event Calendar tells us it's National Superhero Day and as comic book collectors, we are fine with that. National Superhero aims to honor all of society's superheroes, both real and imagined and our contribution to the day is this 1972 Buddah Records release, The Amazing Spider-Man: From Beyond The Grave - A Rockomic. The LP features 6 spectacular stories and 4 songs. The songs are performed by The Webspinners, who is actually  singer, songwriter, session vocalist, and record producer, Ron Dante, best known for voicing Archie Andrews, the lead singer for the fictional band, The Archies. Actor,  René Auberjonois, who I'll always remember as the Changeling, Odo, on Star Trek : Deep Space Nine, voices Peter Parker.  Auberjonois passed away in 2019. The cover features art by John Romita, and that same artwork appears inside as a poster. Ours is intact. Spider-Man was created in 1962 by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko.
