Good morning Sunday people and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today we remember Southern Gospel performer Big John Hall, who like Helen Reddy and Mac Davis, passed away last Tuesday (9-29-20). The Texas native was 81 and had been battling Covid 19. He will be missed by many. His baritone/bass voice can be heard on early records by The Stamps Quartet, The Blackwood Brothers Quartet (which we will feature here, today) and later on over 20 solo albums. On The Jericho Road was released by The Blackwood Brothers Quartet in 1966 on the RCA Camden label. It was produced by Ethel Gabriel and is the first to feature Big John Hall.
