Good morning, morning people and welcome back to the Tuesday edition of Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today we remember guitarist and composer Mike Bloomfield, known for his work with Paul Butterfield and Al Kooper, on what would have been his 77th Birthday. He passed away in 1981, age 37, from unclear circumstances. His body was found in his car, with all four doors locked. Rumor has it he died somewhere else and was driven to that location, possibly after a drug overdose. With Mike in mind we spotlight the debut album by psychedelic blues rock band, The Electric Flag. A Long Time Comin' was released in March of 1968 on Columbia Records and produced by John Court and Joe Church. It peaked at #31 on Billboard's Top LPs chart.
