Top of the morning to ya gang and welcome to the St. Patrick's Day 2023 edition of Stuck In The Vinyl Again, otherwise known as Friday. To ease you into the celebratory spirit we offer up this 1981 Wren Records compilation album from The Irish Breakdown, appropriately titled, The Best Of The Irish Breakdown. The LP sees the Irish folk group's most requested songs from their first three albums on one record. I found a great article from the Washington Post archives on the origins of the band, from 1984 and will include it down around the pictures. This album was bought just this week at Treasure House Antiques & Collectibles in Winter Haven, where my beautiful Wife, Lynn, has her booths.
