Good morning record enthusiasts and welcome back to the Sunday edition of Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today we remember New York born guitarist, vocalist, bandleader, and producer J. Geils. on what would have been his 76th Birthday. He passed away in 2017, age 71, from natural causes. With him in mind we spotlight the J. Geils Band's 9th studio album, Love Stinks. The LP was released January 28, 1980 on the EMI label and produced and arranged by keyboardist, Seth Justman. It peaked at #43 in Australia and #18 on the Billboard 200. Three singles were released ; "Just Can't Wait" (#78 Hot 100), "Come Back" (#69 US Club Play Singles, #32 Hot 100), and the title track, "Love Stinks" (#38 Hot 100).
