Good morning record enthusiasts and welcome back to the Thursday edition of Stuck In The Vinyl Again . Today we celebrate Pennsylvania born keyboardist, composer, record producer, and bandleader, Jeff Lorber, as he celebrates his 69th Birthday. Happy Birthday Jeff ! He is best known for the Jeff Lorber Fusion, but you might have heard his music on the Weather Channel, as many of his songs have been used on the Local on the 8s segments, as well as appearing on their jazz compilation albums. (I did not know TWC put out compilation albums ?!) Today we take a look and a listen to the Fusion's third album, Water Sign. Water Sign was released in 1979 on the Arista and produced by Lorber and Marlon McClain. It peaked at #119 on the Billboard 200 and #4 on the Top Jazz Albums chart.
