Good Tuesday morning to you all and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today we are ecstatic to celebrate the 91st Birthday of Canadian actor, musician, astronaut, and pop culture icon, William Shatner. Happy Birthday William ! The Captain Kirk actor has released 11 studio albums and with his ride into space last year makes him the oldest person to do so. We shine a spotlight on his debut record, The Transformed Man. The LP was released in 1968 on the Decca label and produced by Don Ralke. It features Shatner reading excerpts from classic literature followed by spoken word renditions of popular songs, except for the last track, "The Transformed Man". It is an original composition.
