Good Thursday morning, morning people and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again. On this day in 1965, the 7th album by the Fab Four, Beatles '65, jumped an astonishing 97 points on the Billboard albums chart, to land at #1 where it remained for 9 weeks. At the time it was the largest leap taken on said charts. Today that very LP gets it's very own spotlight on the page. Beatles '65 was released December 15, 1964 on the Capitol label. It also reached #9 in Germany and has been certified 3X Platinum in the US. "I Feel Fine" released in both the UK and America as a single is one of the first examples of using guitar feedback in a studio recording. It peaked at #1 in the UK and Canada and was produced by famed longtime producer, Sir George Martin.
