Good Tuesday morning to you all and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again . Today we joyously celebrate the 90th Birthday of English singer, actress, and composer, Petula Clark. Happy Birthday Petula ! To get her party started, we find ourselves spinning her 20th studio album, My Love. The LP was released 1966 on the Warner Brothers label and produced by Tony Hatch, who also arranged and conducted the whole affair. It peaked at #68 on the Billboard 200 and spawned two singles ;  "A Sign of the Times" (#49 UK, #15 Cash Box, #11 Australia, #11 Hot 100, #8 Canada, #2 Adult Contemporary), and the title track, "My Love" ( #35 Wallonia, #14 Flanders, #13 Germany, the Netherlands, #9 Denmark, #8 Switzerland, #6 Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, #4 Australia, Malaysia, UK New Musical Express, UK Record Retailer, Billboard Easy Listening, and #1 in Canada, Singapore, the Billboard Hot 100, and the  Record World 100 Top Pops. Among the originals, we find a cover of The Beatles' "We Can Work It Out", as well as "If I Were a Bell" from Guys and Dolls.
