Good morning gang and welcome to the return of Saturday's Singles, a Birthday edition. Our first set up melting candles belongs to Brooklyn born  rapper, singer and songwriter,  Freedom Williams, best known for his work with new jack swing outfit, C+C Music Factory. Happy 55th Birthday Freedom. Their single,  "Just a Touch of Love (Everyday)" was released in 1991 on the Columbia label and hailed from their debut record, Gonna Make You Sweat. The song reached #83 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles chart, #50 on the Hot 100, #10 on the Music Week Dance Singles chart, and #1 on the Hot Dance Club Play charts. Our second set of cake encrusted candles belongs to  English musician, singer, songwriter, record producer, activist and former vocalist for the rock band Genesis, Peter Gabriel. Happy 71st Birthday Peter. He released "Shock The Monkey" in 1982 on Geffen Records. It's parent album was Peter's 4th, the self titlted one that was released in the US as Security. "Shock The Monkey" peaked at #64 on the Hot Black Singles chart, #29 on the Hot 100, #26 on the  Dance/Disco charts, and #1 on the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. We have a promotional 12" with the following track list :
