Good morning gang and welcome to the return of Saturday's Singles. First up in our way back machine is the 1976 Reprise Records recording, "Rhiannon" by Fleetwood Mac. The song was released 44 years ago today off of their self titled album, and would go on to reach #11 on the Hot 100, #9 on the Cash Box, and #4 in Canada. It's B-side is "Sugar Daddy" also from their self titled 10th album.

Thirty years before the release of "Rhiannon", in Cambridge, England, future guitarist for Pink Floyd, David Gilmour was born. Today we celebrate him as he celebrates his 75th Birthday. Happy Birthday David ! "Another Brick in the Wall (Part 2)" was released in 1979. The tune, from their iconic concept album, The Wall, reached #1 in Austria, Canada, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Israel, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, the UK, and both Cash Box and Hot 100 in the US. It's B-side is "One of My Turns", also from The Wall. Our copy is in it's original picture sleeve.
