Lisa is celebrating her 55th Birthday today and we celebrate her by spinning the group's single, "Head To Toe". "Head To Toe" was released March 1987 on the Columbia and produced by Full Force. The tune, hailing from their second record, Spanish Fly, peaked at #82 in the UK, #52 in Australia, #16 in the Netherlands, #15 in Belgium, #9 in New Zealand, and #1 in Canada, the Hot 100, Dance Club Songs, and the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts. Our second Birthday wish goes to 70 year old English cellist, Melvyn Gale, best known for his work with English rock band, Electric Light Orchestra. Happy Birthday Melvyn ! With him in mind, we spotlight ELO's song, "Sweet Talkin' Woman". The track, hailing from their 7th studio album, Out of the Blue, was released September 22, 1978 on the Jet label was produced by Jeff Lynne and reached #38 in Australia, #30 in Belgium, #27 in the Netherlands, #23 Record World, #18 on the Cash Box, #17 Hot 100, and #6 in Ireland and the UK. It and it's flip side, "Fire on High" is from the band's Face the Music, their 5th studio album. This 45 is on purple vinyl.
