Good morning gang and welcome the the return of Saturday's Singles, a Birthday  edition. First up in our rotation is multi instrumentalist and vocalist Peter Wolf, best known for his work in The J. Geils Band. He is celebrating his 74th Birthday today and so are we, by spinning this 1982 EMI single, "Angel In Blue". It peaked at #55 in the UK, #40 on the Hot 100, and #39 in Canada. It and it's B-side, "River Blindness",  comes from The J. Geils Band's tenth album, Freeze Frame. Both Luther Vandross and Cissy Houston provide guest vocals on the track.

Our second selection comes to us via The Zombies and bassist/ vocalist Chris White, who is celebrating his 77th Birthday. We wish him a great one by playing "Time Of The Season", a 1968 CBS Records release from their second album, Odessey And Oracle. It reached #1 in Canada and the Cash Box charts, #2 in S. Africa, and #3 on the Hot 100. It's B-side on the US version is "Friends of Mine".
