Good Tuesday morning to you all and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again . Sunday (06-03-22) marked 10 years since the death of North Carolina born actor, comedian, television producer, southern gospel singer, and writer, Andy Griffith. He was born June 1, 1926 and passed away July 3, 2012, from a heart attack at the age of 86. We honor his legacy with this 1961 Capitol Records release, Songs, Themes And Laughs From The Andy Griffith Show. The LP features various songs and tunes from the show including the theme song, "Jack, The Giant Killer" and "The Fishin' Hole" and others. Roland White and The Country Boys provide most of the back up. We got this record from our mechanic. It came without a cover, but I'll post a stock photo, so we know what it looks like.
