Good morning record enthusiasts and welcome back to the Friday edition of Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today we remember Paducah, Kentucky born saxophonist Boots Randolph, on what would have been his 95th Birthday. He passed away July 3, 2007, age 80, after suffering a brain hemorrhage. In 1964, Boots released his third LP, Hip Boots ! , on the Monument label. It was produced by Fred Foster. On it he covers Tiny Bradshaw, Bobby Timmons, Ray Noble, and Steve Allen, among others. In true 60s era record style there are no musicians' credits.
