Good Monday morning gang and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today we celebrate the 66th Birthday of guitarist, vocalist and founding member of both Dokken and Lynch Mob, George Lynch. Happy Birthday George ! To commemorate the date, we turn our collective ear towards Dokken's second studio album, Tooth And Nail. Took And Nail was released September 14, 1984 on the Elektra label and produced by Tom Werman and Roy Thomas Baker. It peaked at #49 on the Billboard 200 and spawned three singles ; "Into the Fire" (#21 Mainstream Rock) , "Just Got Lucky" (#27 Mainstream Rock) , and "Alone Again" (#64 Hot 100, #20 Mainstream Rock). It has been certified Platinum in the US.
