Good morning Sunday people and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today we celebrate guitarist/vocalist, radio personality and founding member of both The Guess Who and Bachman–Turner Overdrive, Randy Bachman, as he celebrates his 77th Birthday. Happy Birthday Randy ! With him in mind, we spotlight the 4th compilation by The Guess Who, The Best Of The Guess Who. The LP was released April 1971, on the RCA Victor label and produced by Jack Richardson. It peaked at #12 on the Billboard 200 and has been certified Platinum in Canada and Gold in the US. Some of the songs on the record are the edited single versions, instead of the album versions. We have two copies of this record and one of them is in pretty bad shape as far as the cover goes. We picked up a replacement copy and was pleasantly surprised to find this 4 page full color poster of the band inside.
